Ingham Medical Architectural Rendering Donated to HSGL

In October 2020, local picker and antiques dealer Duran Martinez uncovered an original architectural rendering of Ingham Medical Hospital from 1969. The rendering is framed and was prepared by Lansing architects Manson, Jackson, & Kane. The rendering was found in an old leaky barn and salvaged as a piece of Lansing history. Martinez, of MI Pick & Flip, routinely finds outstanding pieces of local importance.

Coinciding with the dedication of the new McLaren Greater Lansing hospital (the successor of Ingham Medical) in March 2022, Duran and Sara Marie Martinez donated the 1969 Ingham Medical rendering to the Historical Society of Greater Lansing. We send immense thanks for their generosity in trusting the HSGL to preserve and share this piece of history!
